The clay that was used for this mask becomes black when it is baked in the kiln at more than 1200℃.

However at 1080 it becomes taupe.

These three painting belong together.

They have the same wooden frame. 

Groen buitenmasker - Green garden mask

This mask will be put on poles in the garden one day. Like the Blue triangle.

The photos were made with a daylight lamp. One of my latest purchases. And a big flash light.

Klein masker - Small mask

This mask was photographed in a room with partly transparent curtains. The latter resulting in a pattern on the background.

The masks colour changed while clouds passed.
