Beetje rokerig - Smoky

This sculpture was baked in a hole in the ground, in France.

The vague colours blue and purple resulted from adding some liquid chemicals, don't know which. 

Very laboursome all in all. 

Digging hole, stabbing sods, keeping the fire burning and smoking for hours.

These two lanky men need each other not to fall over.

Rood kroontje - Red crown

Taupe

The clay that was used for this mask becomes black when it is baked in the kiln at more than 1200℃.

However at 1080 it becomes taupe.
